Share Your Manuscript
Send us your manuscript along with a brief about your book: the genre, your target reader, and what it means to you. No particular format required. We work with whatever you have.
Publishing a book can feel like navigating a maze. At Twinkle Tales, we have mapped every turn. This page walks you through every stage of our process, what happens, who handles it, and how long it takes.
This section is designed as a full process flow so authors know exactly what happens next, who handles it, and when their approval is needed.
Send us your manuscript along with a brief about your book: the genre, your target reader, and what it means to you. No particular format required. We work with whatever you have.
Your dedicated publishing manager reviews your submission and reaches out to schedule a consultation. We understand your vision, recommend the right package or services, discuss your timeline, and answer every question you have with no pressure and no jargon.
If your package includes editing, or if you have opted for it separately, our editors work through your manuscript carefully, fixing errors, improving flow, and preserving your voice. We never flatten your writing to fit a template.
Your manuscript is typeset and formatted to professional print standards with proper margins, consistent typography, chapter breaks, and print-ready pagination. We follow A5 trim standards (5.5 x 8.5 in) with B&W interior as default, on 70-80 GSM cream paper.
Whether you choose a template cover or commission a custom design, your cover goes through a dedicated design round. You will see a proof before anything goes to print.
We prepare the title page, publisher imprint page, copyright page, ISBN allocation, barcode generation, bibliographic information, suggested citation format, edition and year identification, and printer declaration so your book is shelf-ready and institution-ready.
Before we go to full print, a physical proof copy is produced within 24 hours and reviewed. You sign off before a single copy goes to print. Nothing moves without your approval.
Once you approve the proof, we go to full print. Books are printed on 300 GSM laminated covers with perfect binding, packaged, and shipped to you. Author copies are included in your package.
We set up your listings and author page, depending on your package, so readers can order your book directly. We also maintain our own publisher records for future reprints or revisions.
Every published title receives a secure archival PDF copy and is added to our publisher records so if you ever need a reprint, a revised edition, or a citation confirmed, we have everything on file.
Timelines depend on manuscript length, complexity, and your responsiveness during review stages.
The visible book is only one part of publishing. We also handle the records, approvals, and production checks that make the book credible, printable, and easy to maintain later.
You see proofs before approval, and nothing moves into final production until you sign off.
We prepare the formal publishing details that make the book shelf-ready, citeable, and institution-friendly.
A physical proof is produced before full print so quality, layout, and presentation can be checked in real form.
We keep secure records and archival files so revised editions, corrections, and reprints are easier to manage later.
Most authors come to us overwhelmed by the number of moving parts involved in publishing. This is the operational load we remove for you.
Every author at Twinkle Tales is assigned a single point of contact who guides the project from submission to delivery. You are not passed between departments or left waiting on a generic inbox. Your manager knows your book, your timeline, and your goals.
